Guilty...

(Sigh)  What a day! I'm here at school, renting one of the computers of IBC. Well, it's been a tiring week for me... Lots of Lumad practices, cheering practices and meetings for our history final paper. I'm really getting exhausted!  And right now, I feel so bad for doing something unintentional to my bestfriend. Well, last night, we talked on the phone and decided to meet up today at Ministop Katipunan at 8 o'clock. We kept on teasing that the one who's going to be late will treat the early one. He informed me that his class is 8:30 so I should really be there on time... If you won't believe it, I really woke up early. But the thing is, I was too confident that I would make it on time. Sadly, I arrived at Ministop at exactly 8:45. When I got there, I saw him holding a paperbag with my malong and umbrella inside. His face was serious mixed with a little expression of "bakit ngayon ka lang?" He didn't say it though. I just saw it in his face. Anyway, the first word that came out in my mouth when I got there was 'sorry'. He looked really pissed off while handing me the paperbag.. What's worse is that he told me that he's already absent in his class. I felt so guilty about what I did. I really felt bad.. I texted him that I am sorry for what I've done. But there's no reply. I feel really stupid! (sigh)

U can be a comfort...

Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Months of August and September were really a pressure for me right now. For the first week of August, we had our Prelims week. Subjects like Math. NSTP and PE were already through. I’m not sure about the others. Also, we had an overnight NSTP exposure last August 12 and 13. I was really bored and homesick that time. Leizel and I were blessed to have kind-hearted foster parents. Nanay Adelina cooked a very delicious chicken adobo while Tatay Jose was sharing his stories about how difficult it is to be a fisherman. I had a lot of fun hosting games for the children there. We had a lot of prizes packed with Anonymous plastic bags (c/o GEL ). It was fun, memorable, and tiring at the same time. I also went to the Gawad Kalinga Build. I was really inspired by those people who volunteered to help. It’s for a good cause! I’m also encouraging you to join this project even if it will only give your body a muscle pain, the experience will be worth it! (Trust me on that! )

Actually, I went to the studio just awhile ago for the rehearsals of our cheerdance presentation. Even though it’s holiday today, I still need to attend some practices. I’m really getting crazy thinking about these presentations. On September, we’re going to have this Lumad Presentation for our History class. Then, our cheerdance competition. After that, Leizel and I will present our speech for our finals in History. It’s like a tangled web already. Two or three presentations that should be performed on the same week! Who can still be pretty with this stress?  Hehe! And before I forgot, this week, we’re going to have our Buwan ng Wika presentation. We’re going to rehearse until 9 in the evening. I haven’t told this to mama because I’m afraid she’ll get mad at me.  She told me before not to join on so many activities. My ate and kuya also kept on teasing me for not being able to rest even if I’m home. But of course, I still try to spend time with them, watch DVD with them, and even wrestle with them if I know I still can.

I’m sorry if I’m narrating all my responsibilities and agendas to you. It’s just that I’m already feeling occupied, unsupported, obliged, stressed and pressured. There is also a big reason why these presentations are on such cramming.  I think it would be unethical if I share this particular reason so I guess I’ll just zip my mouth on that. (How’s that?) Haha!

If you’re wondering what’s the best thing you can do to lessen my burden, just hug me, tell me a joke, buy me hello panda, rebisco choco crunchies, or banoffee pie, give me a call, text me, sing for me, give me a backrub, or anything that can make me happy!  Haha!

BREAKING NEWS: My cellphone was ruined.  I don’t know why. I thought it was just the battery of the phone but when I replaced it with my mom’s, it won’t turn on. Nyay! Does it mean I don’t have any cellphone anymore or is it time to buy for a new one? Haha! I’m just kidding!  If ever you’re on my list of contacts, I won’t be able to recognize you because it’s on the other phone. But you can still text me. I’m using my papa’s other cellphone. Haha! (Lakas!)

Till here.. I have to go. Please pray for me ayt? Take care and may God bless us all!

How it feels to be 17

well, it says all on the heading... How does it feel to be seventeen? Actually, I felt sad because  I wasn't able to compose a blog on my birthday. anyway, it isn't still late right? I have a lot of things in mind. But since, until now, I'm not good in expressing myself through blogs... This will probably be nonsense. anyway, why am i so negative? haha well, like what i said earlier, i want to let you know how it feels to be seventeen..

last tuesday, i had a small celebration in our house. around 2 pm, my classmates from Miriam College went here to celebrate with me. We had a lot of fun while eating and watching "Just Like Heaven" dvd.. Around 4 pm, they went home that's why I had time to change my uniform and rest for a little while. At 6 oclock, the next batch, my Roosevelt College friends, came already. It's like a reunion! They were so happy to see each other, forgetful about me, the celebrant.. haha. of course, i didn't want to be the center of attention or anything. it's just that, i felt so tired because they were all noisy that i decided to just sit down and observe them. paul mark noticed me.. he began laughing.. he started telling other people to stare at me.. honestly, i'm feeling dizzy at that time, i feel like i can't breathe anymore because there are so many people inside. but i did have a lot of fun! i'm so happy that day. my friends in Miriam surprised me with a banner at the Freedom Board! take a look at the pictures below.. they can show you how happy i was..

anyway, I had a very unforgettable experience yesterday. I went to UP to meet Bez after my class. it was around 1 pm when I got there. We ate at Rodics, the famous tapsilogan.. then we hang-out for a little time. But since my bestriend is a really busy guy, he had to attend his 2:30 class.. so, i decided to wait for him until 4:00. I was sitting on a bench facing the sunken garden, studying my notes in psychology when suddenly, 4 koreans approached me.. They were so nice to me.. we had a lot of fun talking with each other that we didn't notice that we've already been there for an hour! unfortunately, eli didn't see them.. but when they left, eli came already. we had a group picture. they promised to send it to me on my email. So sad i didn't take one picture from my cellphone. Maybe because they were in a hurry.. anyway, i won't forget them...

Kim Hye eun, Lee Ji-Yoon, Cho Seong-Jin, and Andy Hwa won.. (sorry if the spelling is wrong..) anyway, nice meeting you guys!!! it's a wonderful gift knowing you and hanging out with you even for a short time. take care guys!

UP?

Tired… Tired… Tired… That’s how I feel right now. So many things to do, so little time. Just this afternoon, Monica, Jam and I went to visit our high school friends at UST. It’s a really rough travel if you’re wearing a 1 ½ inches of heels. We came there just in time. But the problem is, the security guard won’t let us in. He said that we don’t have any important matters to fix inside. Lame excuse for us because we’re seeing FEU and Trinity students walking inside their campus, holding hands with their boyfriends. Of course, we didn’t let our time be wasted for coming. We went to the other gate and made some little alibis. Haha!  I think it’s not much of a bad thing to do. Anyway, we were toured by one of Monica’s friends, Grachi, who is also taking up tourism. (I’m not really sure about the spelling of her name.) We walked around the big grandstand. It’s so nice to be in a real university. I suddenly felt like I’m already a real grown up woman! These things suddenly gave me a thought about transferring. Yep! You’ve read it right. I’m thinking about transferring! It’s not really sure but I’m open about the idea of studying at UP Diliman. I’m not saying that I don’t like Miriam College anymore. It’s just that the tuition fee is really high and they’re so strict about the policies of the school. What I love about UP is that I can wear SLIPPERS!! Haha. And… astig ka pag dun ka nag-aaral! Well, it’s not just about the fame or popularity. It’s more of practicality wise. Don’t worry. I’ll be praying for this. Maybe, God has a better plan right? Let’s just look forward on that. Anyway, I just encountered another funny experience on our trip to UST.

While heading back to Miriam College for our next class, this pedicab driver offered his tribike to drive us to Legarda Station. He told us…

“Saan kayo mga miss?”

“Manong, sa may Legarda Station lang po. Magkano po hanggang dun?”

“Naku, kahit wag na… Kiss na lang!”

“Basta manong sa LRT po ha?”

“Anong LRT? Dun sa papuntang EDSA yun… Baka MRT!”

“Hindi manong! LRT po yun! Yung papuntang Legarda station po.”

“MMMMM-RRRR-TTTT nga yun eh! Ang kulit!”

“Sabi ko nga…

Hay naku… Mga Pilipino nga naman! Ayaw tumanggap ng pagkakamali… haha!

Well, till here na lang siguro… I have to research about something for my psychology subject. Till next blog guys! Namiss ko kayong lahat! Take care and God bless! Mwaah!  sealed w/ a kiss: <simpleng_pinay>

My Weekend

Hello bloggers!  I'm back! Well, ofcourse I'll still give you my never-ending excuse that I've been busy with school.. About school, I've met a lot of friends.. I can't name them right now because they're so many. On our first day, one professor already gave us an assignment. It was a book report! Can you believe that? We were asked to read Stephen King's On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft and answer the questions she had given to be passed after a week. Mean right? I couldn't agree with you more. Haha. (just kiddin') Well, as what those people who knew me have expected, I wasn't able to finish the book. I really can't. But I did try.

Anyway, we started attending classes very early that's why I'm already craving for some rest and recreation. Yesterday, we celebrated Father's Day at Superbowl. We ate there and I can assure you that the foods are really delicious! After that, the youth went to SM Mall of Asia at Pasay. Rumors are true that it is really big! I think the parking lot is just one building of an ordinary mall. (Does iit sound exaggerated?) We went there to watch Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift. I find it good as a whole but not very good! haha. I admired the effects, the cars especially, and also the driving exhibitions. But I didn't like the plot of the movie. It's too common and shallow. Anyway, I still enjoyed hanging out with my crusaders' youth family. Here are some pics to prove it to you:

sorry for the low quality of the image...

here's a huge globe which changes its color every minute. i captured BLUE!

this pic was taken after the movie...

jay looks like a monkey! haha.

i'm with my foster brother.. haha.

what a nice background! Hehe.. puro lights? sorry kuya jonel.

with us was a car branded FORD FOCUS..

we are family! look at our smiles.. ^^

it's a little blurred.. maybe the photographer was laughing.. haha.

this was at penshoppe.. we sneaked inside to have some photos with the maniquin!

well, I guess that's it! I hoped you enjoyed looking at the pictures.. till next blog guys! God bless us all. mwaaaaaaaah!  sealed w/ a kiss: <simpleng_pinay>
